A really economical tray!

Stacking - Unstacking the trays....

This tray is particularly interesting:
For a height of 25 mm, it is only made of Recycled APET 40/100 and yet it stacks at a pitch of 4.1 mm and is automatically unstacked on the packaging line.
Thanks to its very low stacking pitch, it allows a 40% saving on the volume to be stored and transported.
Less space (960 trays in a 600 x 400 x 300 box), cheaper to pack, cheaper to transport, significant savings to be made and on top of that it's good for our planet!

A "well" studied tray!

What differences can there be between two trays?

On the left

A tray
Collected in a cosmetics department of a shop
Made of 30/100 of virgin APET

A tray
Designed and manufactured by AMANDIS
Made of recycled APET 40/100

Both are made of the same material but are very different:
The left-hand hold, which does not stack up, therefore takes up more space in transport and stocks.
Without technical forms it has a poor resistance and as you can see on the second photo, it requires the application of a strip of tape under the middle cavities to improve its rigidity.
This tray has obviously not been the subject of a serious study and the savings made on the material part during its manufacture will be of no use, given that the tape strip will have to be added under each tray before the tubes are placed in it.
What has been saved on the one hand will generate a much more consequent expenditure during the implementation.
Not to mention the more than questionable aesthetic aspect which may not give the consumer complete confidence to buy the product on offer!
Finally, the last straw is at the end of the product's life: Because of the tape strip, this tray is no longer a single material and is no longer recyclable!

The easiest way to avoid this kind of disappointment is to contact AMANDIS, Europe's number one manufacturer of trays.

AMANDIS and its design office will design for you a shim such as the one on the right, which is easy to stack and unstack, rigid and which will give the consumer confidence to buy the product on offer.
